Technology Transfer CCMT
The Competence Center for Medical Technology (CCMT) is actively involved throughout Switzerland in the professional transfer of technology between universities, colleges and industry.
The CCMT establishes partnerships between research & development institutions and industry with the aim of realising new product innovations. The services of the CCMT are free of charge for medtech firms.
Partners of the CCMT foundation include public and private R&D institutions from academia, universities of applied sciences and private non-profit organisations.
The Medical Cluster founded the CCMT in 2006 in collaboration with the University of Berne and Berne University of Applied Sciences. The managing director of the Medical Cluster, Peter Biedermann, works closely together with his counterpart at the CCMT, Patrick Roth.
